REALTORS® with the SRES® designation help seniors make wise decisions about selling the family home, buying rental property or managing the capital gains and tax implications of owning real estate. By earning the SRES® designation, REALTORS® have demonstrated that they have the requisite knowledge, experience and expertise to be a senior’s real estate specialist and counselor.

Alpha College of Real Estate reserves the right to cancel a course with a full refund to all paying participants. Classes may be postponed or cancelled if a minimum number of students have not pre-registered.

SRES® COURSE: This course is the only education vehicle for obtaining the SRES® designation. Students taking this course must be members of the Senior Advantage Real Council by application and payment (unless specifically and individually approved by the Council prior to class date). Registration fees must be prepaid and application paperwork completed prior to course date; however, a full refund will be given to registrant if written notice of cancellation is given 72 hours in advance of the course date. Provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course offering due to low registration. Should a class be cancelled, a full refund will be paid to registrants within 15 days of the cancellation. If the class is rescheduled and not cancelled, registration will be made for the new course date. There is no refund, nor guarantee of seating, to any registrant who arrives late for continuing education credit (if available); nor is the SRES® designation awarded if registrant does not attend two consecutive days of course in accordance with regulations. There is no refund, designation credit, or continuing education credit given to the registrant who is not physically present both days of course in accordance with regulations. An exam may not be required for continuing education credit, but it is required for designation credit. There is no designation credit if the student does not successfully complete the exam with a passing grade in accordance with course regulations.
