	Leading our team of staff instructors is George Safire. George has taught over 15, 000 students. He has 28 years of experience as a Principles of Real Estate instructor.		Darlene Kemp, with First Horizons Home Loan, is a certified VHDA trainer and has authored guides to home financing.
	James Allen has 17 years practical experience as a professional real estate agent. James is a Hampton Roads REALTORS® Circle of Excellence Gold Award winner.		Dwayne Louk, Esquire, is an attorney with Shuttleworth, Ruloff, Swain, Haddad & Morecock, PC. He is also a Director of Senior's First Mortgage Company, LLC, a mortgage company which specializes in reverse mortgages.
	Jennifer Bennett is an Accredited Mortgage Banker with the Virginia Mortgage Lenders Association and a certified VHDA trainer. Jennifer is a mortgage loan officer with Prosperity Mortgage.		Mike Manicone, President and Senior Loan Officer with CTX Mortgage has over 16 years as a Mortgage Banker. Mike works with new agents each month in Alpha’s QUICKSTART© Program.
	Hope Brenick holds an associate brokers license and has six years of residential and property management experience. Hope is a Bronze Award winner with the Virginia Peninsula Association of REALTORS®.		Ann Palmateer is licensed in Virginia and North Carolina, teaching a NC exam prep class. She is also a Virginia Association of REALTORS® GRI instructor. Ann holds the VAR Educator of the Year award.
	William Brown, both a long time principles and continuing education instructor, started his career in New York. He currently owns a real estate firm on the Peninsula and is active in residential redevelopment & sales.		Johnny Parker has been with Alpha well over 10 years and has taught just about every real estate class offered. Johnny Parker and his wife, Susan, own a brokerage firm on the Peninsula.
	Chris Busching has over 11 years experience as a loan officer and renovation specialist. Chris has taught both new agents basic finance and experienced agents renovation loan products.		Dick Reass, owner of Reliant Title, has supported Alpha for many years. He volunteers his expertise to new agents with his Contract to Closing course.
	Charles "Don" Clark is an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor and has been active in the profession since 1972. He is also a State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser in Virginia and North Carolina.		Walter Rein, ABR® SRES®, is a multi-award winner of the Hampton Roads REALTORS® Circle of Excellence. He has volunteered his expertise to new agents on the topics of technology and agency.
	Shirley Conner, ABRM CRB CRS®, has taught contract writing, real estate law and land use to new and experienced agents. Shirley has 29 years of real estate experience.		Columbus Thomas has nine years of real estate experience. Columbus worked five of those years as a property manager for the Veteran’s Administration Foreclosed Home Program.
	Clyde Cooper is a multi-award winner in the Hampton Roads REALTORS® Circle of Excellence. He is very active in HRRA and has served as Chair of the Virginia Association of REALTORS® Professional Development Group.		Henry Thrasher, with Greenbrier Real Estate & Appraisals, has 30 years of appraisal experience. Henry holds both a Virginia and North Carolina license.
	Cynthia Couch, Esquire, with Davis Law Group, PC, manages the residential real estate division of the law practice. She is an active Hampton Roads REALTORS® Association affiliate member.		Cliff L. Wells is a past president of the Hampton Roads REALTORS® Association. He has been awarded the Century 21 Gold Achievement Award and the REALTOR® Code of Ethics award.
	Marie Cowan retired from real estate after 31 years. Marie was a sales manager for 28 of those years and won the Sales Manager of the Year award. Marie happened to be voted “most beautiful red-haired baby” at the North Carolina State Fair.		Laura Wheeler has over 20 years experience teaching Principles of Real Estate, continuing education and new agent training. Having taught over 15,000 students, she really enjoys watching the learning process of her students.
	Steven M. Gunther is the owner of Steven M. Gunther, PC, and Virtue Title and Escrow, Inc. He specializes in real estate transactions and closings. He is the current president of the Tidewater Real Estate Investor Group (TREIG).		Howard Williams holds an associates broker's license, the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation and is a Graduate of the REALTORS® Institute (GRI). He has over 10 years of real estate experience.
	Kenny Hart chairs the Building Practices and Trades Division. He is a national speaker for several home inspection trade organizations, and also serves on numerous HRRA committees.
