Principles of Real Estate Online Course

The Virginia Real Estate Board currently requires anyone wishing to obtain a real estate license to complete, with a passing grade, a State approved 60-hour course called "The Principles of Real Estate." This course is to cover the principles and practices of real estate as well as Virginia real estate law, and is designed to prepare the student to pass the Virginia State Examination for licensure as a real estate salesperson.

Based on the best-selling Modern Real Estate Practice and Virginia Real Estate: Practice & Law, this interactive course provides students a strong foundation for building a successful real estate career. Virginia license law, Real Estate Board rules and regulations, and other state-specific laws are covered.

As part of our line of exam prep products, this course combines lessons that students can review at their own pace, up to five different types of interactive exercises, visually stimulating instructional graphics, and exams that measure student understanding of the material.

There are no refunds for this course unless technical support decides, through no fault of the user, that there were technical difficulties with the online course. A person wanting to transfer to a Principles classroom course must pay a transfer fee of $75. Seat time hours completed in the online course do not transfer to the classroom. Once a student has transferred, no refund is allowed.
